With effect from 16.03.2026, the Ministry of Tourism hereby discontinues the Voluntary Scheme of Project Approvals for hospitality units at the construction/pre-construction stage. Accordingly, no fresh applications shall be entertained by the Ministry from the said date. All applications pending as on 16.03.2026 shall be treated as closed
